Kim’s Personal Story

Kim’s Personal Story: “It’s not unusual for me to take close to an hour in the bathroom”

I am 63. I’ve had GI issues all my life. I experience difficulties in having a bowel movement. It’s a CHORE EVERY MORNING. I setup my area with gloves Vaseline a soft paper towels & wipes. It’s not unusual for me to take close to an hour in the bathroom, & go through two rolls of paper towels. I always feel pressure in my rectum and never feel empty, have that constant feeling to have to go,but nothing comes out. This is controlling my quality of life. I’ve had five Colonoscopies. Ive been diagnosed with erosive gastritis and GERD. Recently I’ve been diagnosed having a rectocele, which Colorectal Doctor suggest I get a MRI Defecography which examines the way your rectum muscles work during a bowel movement. This seem of very invasive procedure certainly EMBARASSING!!!
